Their property belonging to the style Art Noveau, was built in 1913 by one of the most important figures of this movement on the island, the Catalan architect Mario Rotllant , which became one of the most famous for his work in cement and plaster , for purism of his works and be a keen connoisseur of this movement that broke new ground of Cuban architecture of the time.
Currently in Havana there are only about 25 listed buildings in the Art- Nouveau that despite being criticized, as any extravagance, its buildings give Havana the poetic touch of the century.
